What was one of your biggest challenges as a leader and how did you overcome it?

In the current environment with real estate deal flow ground to a halt, it has been challenging to instill patience and creativity in junior team members that are hungry to make an impact and consummate transactions. They have never experienced a financial crisis or sector recession. I’ve emphasized that there is tremendous value in creatively evaluating the asset landscape and thinking outside the box, further underscoring that with dislocation comes opportunity.
